In addition to David Griffin playing the villainous Captain Hook, the ‘Utterly Brilliant’ children’s television entertainer Timmy Mallett of Wide Awake Club and Wacaday fame will be playing the comedy role of Smee in the swashbuckling adventure.
Playhouse general manager Peter Undery said: “David Griffin has excellent credits in comedies as well as a strong reputation as a professional actor and will be a very special Captain Hook. We have made a deliberate effort to promote the comedy in Peter Pan, particularly between Hook and Smee, played by children’s television presenter Timmy Mallett.
“David and Timmy will be supported by an all-star cast which we hope to confirm in the coming weeks.”
