Car Parking
Playhouse patrons may park for just £2 in the Sovereign Shopping Centre car park while watching an evening show. It is then a pleasant short walk to The Playhouse. There are CCTV television cameras along this route, helping to make your visit to The Playhouse a safe one. To take advantage of this offer you will need to validate your Sovereign Centre Parking Token upon arrival at the theatre. Please contact The Box Office for full details. The car parking period must begin after 6.30pm.

Discounts

We can offer discounts for senior citizens (60 and over), children (16 and under) and party rates for bookings of 10 or more on most shows. A family ticket refers to four people at least two of whom must be children. All offers apply to full price tickets only and there is only one discount per ticket.

Access to the Arts
The theatre is please to offer a limited number of £5 tickets for most performances for full-time students. Please ensure that you bring proof of identification when booking your tickets.

Friends of the Playhouse
The Friends of the Playhouse are voluntary organisation that supports the Playhouse. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off the full ticket price of all shows denoted by the masks symbol. One discount ticket per member. Theatre. For membership details contact the Box Office or click here.

Film Society
Film Society members have a choice of seeing all Society films free of charge, and are entitled to 10% discount off the full price ticket of other Playhouse films. For full details contact the film society on (01934) 512959

Wheelchairs
We have ramped access into the foyer and from there a lift to the stalls, where up to four wheelchair users can be accommodated. Wheelchair users should be accompanied. Dedicated disabled toilets are available.

Hearing Impaired Patrons
The Playhouse has an infra-red hearing system that can be accessed from all seats. Please reserve your receiver when booking tickets.

Guide Dogs and Audio Described Performances
Guide dogs are permitted in the Playhouse. We also offer audio description of some performances.

Bar and Coffee Bar

Our bar and coffee bar are open from 30 minutes before curtain-up until the end of the interval and offer a wide variety of drinks, crisps, ice creams and confectionary.
